Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has hailed the resilience of workers in the state and their contributions to the socio-economic and political development of the state. Ortom, in a solidarity message through his spokesperson, Nathaniel Ikyur, to mark this year’s Workers’ Day, said the uncommon resilience of the state workforce despite the harsh economic environment gave him a sense of pride.
The governor, however, reiterated his call on all citizens to be security conscious in order to curtail insecurity in the state.

Meanwhile, the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), has said workers were the strong engine room of every government, noting that their contributions to the success of any administration could not be overemphasised.
The governor, in a press statement signed by his spokesman, Richard Olatunde, on the 2022 Workers’ Day, saluted the resilience and dedication of the civil servants.
