Organ Harvesting: Nigerian Lady offers her kidney to Ekweremadu’s Daughter

A Nigerian lady, Martha Uche has offered to donate her kidney to save the life of Sonia, daughter of Nigeria’s former deputy senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

While mixed reactions have continued to trail over the reports of the arrest, detention and arraignment of the two prominent Nigerians, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice, by the London Metropolitan Police over suspected conspiracy to transport a 15 year old boy named Ukpo Nwamini David to the UK in order to harvest his organs for their child.

Ekweremadu and his wife facilitated David’s entry into the UK to transplant his kidney into their daughter who is suffering from kidney failure.

Daily Trust had reported how the couple were charged with alleged conspiracy to harvest the organs of a child in the United Kingdom.

However, Martha has offered to donate her kidney to save the daughter of Ekweremadu.

In a video interview that went viral on social media, Martha said she needs to save the life of Sonia.

“I want to do that because I need to help the girl she is dying. They have already showed me in my dream that I should help the girl.”

“I’ve already seen her long time ago, even this morning I still had the same dream so I need to do it fast “ uche added.

When asked if she has any demands to help the daughter of the former senate president, Martha said she has no demands for now, but she only needs to save the girl’s life which is more important.
