Dr. Muhammad Uba Adamu, the father of Professor Abdalla Uba Adamu, the Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University (NOUN), is dead.
A statement by Ibrahim Sheme, the spokesman of NOUN, said the octogenarian passed away in Kano on Monday.
“From God we came, and unto Him shall we return. May his soul rest in peace, amen,” the statement said.

His death in Kano added to the number of prominent people that died in the last few days.
