Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extoled the supremacy of God, saying He is the giver and taker of life.
Tinubu spoke on Sunday during a prayer session organised for him at Lagos House, Marina.

Tinubu returned from a three-month medical trip abroad on Friday.
At the reception, he thanked all and sundry for the show of love, saying he is back “hale, hearty and big”.
He said, “I am a little emotional, but I am happy. God is the giver of life and He is the only one who can take it. He has spared us till today and has given us the privilege of the day.
“I thank him. I cannot praise Him better than any of and all of your voices, but I am standing before you hale, hearty and big.
“It is just a day of joy for me, it is a day and we are here thanking God the Almighty. May God bless all of you, May he grant you your heart desires. I am grateful and I thank God Almighty,” he said.
The event was attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, members of the State Executive Council, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Local governments, Governor Advisory Council (GAC) as well as top echelons of the APC in the State.
The host of the reception, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, thanked God for keeping Tinubu safe and making it possible for him to come back home, hale and hearty.
Also, the Speaker, House of Representatives, Gbajabiamila, acknowledged the many visits by notable individuals and groups to Tinubu during his stay in London.
He described the gesture as an indication of his leadership skills and influence on the nation’s political circle.
Prayers were offered by both Muslim and Christian Clerics at the event.
