Only God can punish looters – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that only God can punish those who abused public trust in the country.

Buhari stated this today, while lamenting the failure of the Peoplees Democratic Party (PDP) to address the infrastructural challenges in the country during its 16 years reign.

Speaking when he received members of his support groups at the presidential Villa, Abuja, he said under the 16 years of PDP regime, crude oil sold for $100 per barrel but that the revenue generated was not invested in the country.

“Large scale abuse of trust, only God can give them punishment but those we can touch, we will get them prosecuted.

“We have said properties confiscated should be sold and the money put into treasury and we will use,” he said.
