One feared dead as 2 Aircraft crash in Abuja

Two of the jets involved in practicing air displays in preparation for the Independence Day celebrations have crashed into Katampe hills in Abuja.

Eyewitnesses told Daily Trust that 3 airmen exited the plane using parachutes but one of them is feared dead.

The plane crashed and burst into flames with smoke seen on the Kubwa expressway close to a bus-stop known as Tipper garage.

Security men have cordoned off the area with National Emergency Management Agency’s vehicles sighted in the area evacuating what seems to be a body bag.
