Ondo House Crisis: Chambers remains shut

The house of assembly in Ondo state remains shut after two factions confronted each other last week.

One faction is led by embattled speaker Jumoke Akindele and the other by Malachi Coker.

Coker said the house was shut on police orders.

The crisis followed announced suspension of Speaker Mrs Jumoke Akindele, the Deputy Speaker, Fatai Olotu and Ifedayo Akinsoyinu, the majority leader by 14 lawmakers two weeks ago for alleged misappropriation of fund running to millions of naira.
