Ondo confirms 3 dead, 7 missing

The Ondo State government yesterday confirmed the death of three pilgrims from the state’s contingent in the stampede while seven others are still missing.
The state Commissioner for Information, Mr Kayode Akinmade, said in a statement in Akure that  the state government had communicated with the Saudi Arabian authorities, hence the confirmation.
Nigerian Hajj officials say more identities of the victims of the stampede will be made public as they come.
