A former director of administration with the Lagos state government, Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga was on Tuesday announced as the new Ogun state deputy governor.
She replaced the former deputy governor Prince Segun Adesegun who resigned last month and decamped to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Onanuga becomes the second female to be appointed as the deputy governor since the creation of Ogun state in 1976.
Until her new appointment, she was a director of finance in the ministry of Environment and holds HND (Business Administration) from Lagos state School of Science and
Technology, Isolo and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye.
She hails from Aparaki in Ijebu Igbo in Ijebu North local government area of the state and a younger sister to the Managing Director of Independent Communication Network (ICN), publishers of TheNEWS/PM News, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.
