Olubadan installs ex-gov aspirant, others as Mogajis, Baales

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adeunji has installed four people as Mogaji of their respective families and three Baales in their respective domain.

Among them is a governorship aspirant in the 2019 election in Oyo State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Olasunkanmi Joseph Tegbe.

Others installed at the Popoyemoja palace of the Olubadan are; Chief Isiaka Adeniyi Ojebode who was installed as Mogaji of Ile-Iwo family in Oja Oba, Chief Sikiru Adekola Olotu who was installed as Mogaji of Adesun/Adabanija and Chief Lukman Adeleke who was installed as Mogaji of Odeku in Bode area of Ibadan.

The monarch urged them to be good ambassadors of their respective families and villages, saying their representation in the palace is significant.

Speaking shortly after the installation, Joseph Tegbe said his installation has put to rest the insinuation from some quarters that he was not an indigene of Ibadan land.
