Oloture: The Journey is planned to release on Netflix on June 28

The much-anticipated sequel centres on a young journalist who goes undercover as a sex worker in Nigeria to uncover corruption; along the way, she battles for her life and forges a path to Europe.

The series, directed by Kenneth Gyang, features a star-studded cast that includes Sharon Ooja, Omoni Oboli, Beverley Osu, Ikechukwu Onunaku, Stan Nze, Amarachukwu Ono, Bukola Oladipupo, Daniel Etim Effiong and Patrick Doyle.

The series, produced by Ebonylife Studios, is one of several unique collaborations between EbonyLife and Netflix, including Netflix’s first Nigerian original series, ‘Blood Sisters’, which captivated hearts with 11 million hours viewed in its opening week.
