Nigerian rap music star, Olumide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo or Baddosneh, will be guest on this week’s edition of Globacom-sponsored African Voices, magazine programme of the Cable News Network (CNN).

Olamide, 32, will be joined on the 30-minute programme by South African dancer and choreographer, Musa Motha.

The music star established his own record label, YBNL Nation, which serves as a platform for himself as well as the next generation of musically talented youths to ply their trade soon after releasing his first album named Rapsodi in 2011.

He was honored as the Most Gifted Rap Artiste from West Africa by Channel O Music Video Awards in 2014 following his recognition as Best Indigenous Artiste at the 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

His ‘Baddest Guy Ever Liveth’ album was the Album of The Year in the 2014 version of the awards while his Shakiti Bobo track was the Certified Banger of The Year at the 2015 Headies Awards. In 2016, The Nigerian Entertainment Awards named him Rap Act of the Year among other awards and nominations.

Motha, who is based in Johannesburg, was mentored by the Reach For A Dream Foundation which encourages children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses through the fulfilment of their dreams and has become a role model for others by rising above his disability to become a celebrated professional dancer.

African Voices Changemakers will be on DSTV channel 401 on Saturday at 9.30a.m with repeats on Sunday at 4.30a.m, 7.30a.m, 12.30p.m, and 7.30p.m.
