Olam distributes palliatives in Hadejia

Olam Nigerian limited, one of the leading food and agriculture company in Nigeria, has distributed palliatives to less privileged people in Hadejia Local Governmentt Area of Jigawa State.

Speaking, the Unit  Manager, Alhaji Isiaka Ayinde, said they considered the gesture as part of social responsibility by the company to help the needy, especially when the country was faced with COVID-19 Pandemic.

He said 250 packages which contain rice, beans, spaghetti and vegetable oil were given to beneficiaries in three districts of the emirate.

In his remarks, Chairman of Hadejia Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdullahi Maikanti Muhammad, charged other organisations in the area to emulate the  gesture.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Makaman Hadejia, Alh. Baffa Adamu, the District Head of Hadejia Central, commended the company for the gesture.
