The association’s president, Alasa Eshioramhe, and Secretary-General, Yusuf Shamsudeen, who spoke on the development, said that the impasse was not good for cohesion and development of the clan.
They said the continued absence of a substantive Okwokpellagbe after the death of the former king, Alhaji A.Y.E Dirisu, in 2019 had negatively impacted the community in terms of infrastructural development and collective quest for unity among the existing villages in the clan.
