Speaking to journalists in his country home Mbutu in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of the state yesterday, Ihedioha said, although he had nothing against Okorocha, he did not want him to govern the state beyond 2015.
Ihedioha, who belongs to the PDP, said several groups have been urging him to join the governorship race in the state. If he does, he may challenge Governor Okorocha who belongs to the APC.
The lawmaker said he was still consulting the people on the matter, adding that he had all it takes to become the governor of the state.
He challenged those who want to contest for governorship post in the state to present their scorecards to the people and allow the electorate to make their own judgment.
He said he was re-elected into the House of Representatives because of his performance, adding that he had also never lobbied anybody to get the post of deputy speaker but earned it because of his good records.
