Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has challenged his predecessor, Chief Ihedi Ohakim, who wants to return as governor for the second time, to tell people of the state what he achieved during his tenure to merit another chance.
Okorocha said in Owerri in a reaction to Ohakim’s criticism of his administration, that those achievements would endear Ohakim to the people and make them vote for him again.
The governor said Ohakim failed to list his achievements as governor and his agenda for the people in his second coming.
“Let Chief Ohakim publish his achievements for the four years he was governor, with their locations, or publish all the achievements of the PDP governments in the state from 1999 to 2011, or publish the achievements of all those who had governed the state from 1976 when the state was created to 2011 when Rochas came on board and let Rochas publish his own achievements. Let there be issues and not petty lies,” the governor said.
