The state of Abia, for the past five years, has been associated with poor infrastructures, the struggle for the sovereign state of Biafra by members of IPOB and a failed urban renewal project.
No one would imagine that a governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, who has failed in the past five years, has already started plans and has also told close allies and friends his desire to run for the office of the President in 2023 or if his party zones it elsewhere, will lobby for the position of the Vice President.

The question is, on what grounds does Okezie want to be president or vice? What are his achievements as a governor?
Aba is seen as the headquarters of refused dump and bad roads in Nigeria today.
Is that the legacy he wants to use to lobby for the above positions?
Only if Okezie has spent half of the money he spends on social media to clean his image on the roads in Abia, the story would be different.
As Abians, we are still trying to come to terms with the fact that our governor wants to be president or vice in 2023. He has gone on to do the unthinkable.
The Peoples Democratic Party has always kicked against the imposition of candidates in any office as it repositions itself for the 2023 general elections.
The question on the lips of all Abians is that, why will a governor be working against the ideology of his party? A governor that wants to be President or Vice in 2023 is the one at the fore front of this imposition.
The Peoples Democratic Party must call the governor to order or risk losing out in the state.
The notion that Igbos dislikes the All Progressive Congress is just a loose statement by paid political analyst. The party in Abia must allow the people choose their representatives.
Governor Ikpeazu and the PDP in Abia State should have gone ahead to continue with the transitional Chairman/and women with their selected candidates rather than to rob the poor citizens of the state in the name of form selling.
The innocent masses where made to pay the sum of N150k to purchase a Councillorship form and N1.5m for Local Government Chairmanship.
Rather than go ahead with the primaries, the governor has decided to select his followers, those supporting his non performance.
Let it be known to all men that there were no Councilorship and Chairmanship Primaries in all the entire 17 Local Governments of Abia State today, Tuesday 10th, and 12th November, 2020.
A governor, who has failed in all ramifications, wants to impose councilors and LG chairman to carry out his clandestine plans.
Abia PDP and Governor Ikpeazu are actually creating an atmosphere of trouble for themselves in Abia but God and the people are stronger than them all.
The national body must call the governor to order or risk losing out in the state.
Let them show a clip of the PDP Councilorship and Chairmanship Primaries that took place anywhere in Abia State.
