Alhaji Ibrahim Uge Obaro has been appointed as the Regent Ohi of Okengwe/Okene pending the appointment of a substantive Ohi.
The appointment was contained in a letter signed by the commissioner, Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Salami Mohamodu Ozigi.
The appointment of the regent was in line with section (4) sub section (2) of chiefs law and sub section 1 of the creation /establishment and procedure for the ascention to the stool of Ohi in Ebiraland.
The letter urged the regent, whose appointment is for three months, to conduct himself in accordance with the law establishing the stool.
