The groups based in Onitsha, Anambra state are the Authentic Angels and Like minds Forum.

The two group with over 850 membership agreed after their meeting that Senator Margery for the 2015 polls, an official Prince Mofunanya Onuora said in a statement.

Senator Magery is the widow of late senate president Chuba Okadigbo.

The statement said senator had spent a total of N240 million on projects for social economic growth in 2014 alone for the constituency.

It listed the areas covered to include health, education sectors and other poverty eradication programmes.

“The sum of N40 million was spent on primary health care centre in Nteje Oyi local government, N20 million in the construction of a three- classroom block, VIP toilet, furniture, books and water-hand pump in Igbariam, Anambra east and N20 million on another three-class room block, VIP toilet, furniture, books water hand-pump in Umumbo Ayamelum, Iyiowa Odekpe Ogbaru, Ochuche Ogbaru and Ogbunike, Oyi local government areas each,” the statement read.

The senator also spent N70 million on the supply of tricycles for women and youth empowerment.
