Okada riders’ ticketing officer killed in Ekiti

Gunmen have shot dead a middle-aged man, Samuel Omoyajowo,  who is a ticketing officer for commercial motorcyclists in Ado-Ekiti,  Ekiti State.

Information gathered revealed that the gunmen came on a motorcycle and opened fire on the man in the early hours of the day while he was on duty by the roundabout in the Okesa area.

When contacted on Tuesday, the Chairman, Okada Riders Association in Ekiti State, Mr Kunle Asaolu, confirmed the development.

Police spokesman in Ekiti State, DSP Sunday Abutu, also confirmed the attack and killing, saying investigation had commenced.
