An Okada rider, Saliu Jubril, of Awolowo Road, Tanke, Ilọrin, Kwara State, has been arraigned for allegedly raising false alarm over the disappearance of his private part.
The prosecutor, Innocent Owoola, who charged the defendant charged with a two-count charge of false information and defamation of character, told the court that the defendant falsely accused his passenger, Emmanuel Taiwo, of being behind the disappearance of his penis contrary to Sections 156 and 392 of the Penal Code.
He explained that the defendant complained that the plaintiff boarded his Okada and that “in the process he touched him which made his penis to disappear.
“Following Jubril’s complaint, Taiwo was arrested and he (Jubril) was taken to the police clinic for treatment where a doctor confirmed that nothing was wrong with him.

“Thereafter, a prostitute was invited for further examination which confirmed his manhood was very effective at erection.”
The suspect was represented by Aminat Abdulrahaman.
The Magistrate, Abdulganeey Ajia, granted the accused bail and adjourned the case to August 9.
