The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has congratulated the new ministers on their inauguration into the Federal Executive Council (FEC), tasking them to see their appointment as a call to service.
A statement issued by the union’s National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Emmanuel Ojugbana, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for “placing the ministers in the right ministries”.
The association said the ministers cannot afford to disappoint Nigerians and President Buhari who appointed them.
The union said: “Most of the new ministers are great achievers, so they have to bring their experience to bear in their appointments. They have to ensure that the change mantra being preached by this administration is fully implemented. They should also ensure that Nigerians derive the desired democratic dividends and eliminate the injustice of the past.”
