Oil service firm gets CEO

An integrated oilfield services firm, RusselSmith Nigeria, has appointed Kayode Adeleke as its new Chief Executive Officer.

A statement issued by the company said that Adeleke succeeded Leslie Oghomienor, who has been appointed the executive chairman of the company.

Adeleke joined the company in 2001 and had been a part of the team for over 16 years.

He joined the firm as executive director, finance & technology, before becoming the deputy managing director.

Besides, the statement said Adeleke had served as the senior executive vice president, where he helped to lead and execute many of the company’s critical strategic development and expansion programmes.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and Institute of Directors (IoDs).

Adeleke is also the charter president of the RusselSmith Toastmaster Club (RTC) and the current vice chairman of Blaugrana Sports International (BSI), the licence owner of the FC Barcelona Soccer School, Lagos.
