Students in Lagos under the umbrella of the Community of Ogun State Students in Lagos (COSLAG) stormed markest in Oshodi cleared refuse and dirt at the weekend.
The members of COSLAG from 11 tertiary institutions started the exercise at the Alhaja Abibat Mogaji Modern Market adjacent to the Oshodi transport interchange, from where they moved to Araromi Street, then Ogunlana Street, before returning to where they started.

The president of COSLAG, Comrade Akindele Opeyemi, said the exercise was part of the community’s contribution to sanitising the environment.
Com Opeyemi commended the Lagos Waste Management Agency (LAWMA) for its support through the provision of shovels, rakes, face masks, gloves, among others.
