The Ogun State Government has sealed a plastic collection and recycling company, G. J. Halcyon Nigeria Limited, situated in Sango Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota LGA, over environmental infractions.
Officials of the Ogun Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA), led by the Assistant Chief Scientific Officer, Alade Babatunde, sealed the company.

Babatunde pointed out that the company was found culpable of operating without environmental approvals and discharging untreated wastewater to the host community, thereby endangering the lives of people, noting that companies must adhere strictly to environmental laws of the state.
