The water comes up and fills everywhere, the road is very bad and we cannot even move, we cannot go anywhere, we all just stay at home. There is no security at all in this area,” she said.

“The road is bad and we are suffering. We spend most of our money on our vehicles and the parts are now very expensive. They should try and fix it,” he said.

A physically challenged man who simply identified himself as TU, said that mobility has been difficult since the road became deplorable, adding that he is at the mercy of someone else’s assistance to take him to the hospital.

“As at now for the past years I have been here, there is nothing I can do, there is no doctor that is coming here to take care of me, now I cannot move from here to that place, I will fall down because of the so-called bad road. The road is so bad that there is nothing that you do here that will give you your daily bread.

“Now I wish to go to hospital, there is no person that can come here to take me to the hospital, so ladies and gentlemen we are almost dying. We need the help of our governor. At least he has passed here several times, but he is not doing anything to assist us. Our problems continuing to increase day in day out, so we are appealing to the relevant stakeholders to come to our aid,” he pleaded.
