The Ogun State Government has recruited 150 personnel into its fire service to enhance its operations and prompt response to fire disasters and other emergencies.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Dr Rotimiolu Akinlesi, revealed this while addressing journalists in his office.
He said that of the 105 of the recruited personnel, 61 were junior officers, while 45 were senior officers, to complement the existing workforce, as well as boost fire service operations in the state.
