The All Progressives Congress (APC), has swept all the 20 chairmanship seats in the Saturday council poll held in Ogun State.
The Chairman of Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), Babatunde Osibodu, announced this on Sunday in Abeokuta.

Osibodu had earlier on Sunday morning announced 17 of the results.
The last three results and winners were announced at 2:30 pm.
He explained that the total number of votes cast in the chairmanship elections in the 20 local government areas in the State were 396, 641.
“I want to say that APC won all the chairmanship seats in the 20 local government areas in the State,” he said.
He said that the results of the election into all the 236 councillorship positions in the State would be released as soon as they were ready.
Osibodu expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the people during the elections, saying that their peaceful conduct made the election a success.
He equally applauded the security enforcement agencies for the role played in the success of the elections.
