Weekly Trust had exclusively reported last week of the planned visit which was to come through the passage of a motion. But, at the plenary sitting on Thursday, the Speaker of the House, Tunji Egbetokun, ordered that the motion should be deferred temporarily going by the debate for and against the move.

The Deputy Speaker and sponsor of the motion, Remmy Hassan, representing Odogbolu constituency, had called the attention of the House to the alleged flagrant abuse of the Nigerian constitution and the House Rules by the state governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
