The Ogun State Government has granted investors a 50 percent discount on all year 2020 land use and amenities charge paid by September 30, 2020.
The State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe, stated this during the 15th Quarterly Stakeholders Engagement meeting between the state government and members of MAN, Ogun State branch.
Mrs. Longe said, the state inaugurated the Ogun State Business Environment Council, to “focus on sustainable reforms to address constraints impeding the ease of doing business in the state and limiting effective private sector participation.”
The Chief Economic Adviser and State Commissioner for Finance, Dapo Okubadejo, said, ‘’Taxpayers, who pay their land use and amenities charge between October 1 and 31, 2020 would enjoy 25 per cent discount, while payment made between November 1 and 30, 2020 would attract 10 per cent discount.’’
Chairman of the Association, Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, lauded the ministry for providing support for manufacturers in the state, as well as acting promptly towards addressing their concerns.
