Olorogun Omoru gave the advice on the backdrop of reported post-election developments that the Labour Party candidate has vowed to challenge the victory of Okowa as winner of the April 11 governorship election in Delta State. Chief Omoru told Daily Trust Wednesday that a fresh round of legal battle was not in the interest of Deltans and the state, considering the fact that Ogboru’s previous legal battles against Chief James Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in the last 16 years did not succeed.
Omoru recalled that Great Ogboru’s judicial battle with Governor James Ibori and later, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan cost the state enormous amount of money to prosecute, noting that Ogboru and Governor Uduaghan’s case ended only barely a year ago.
