Ahead of the resumption of international flights on August 29, senior officials of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), on Monday, inspected the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos which is the largest and busiest airport, taking about 80 per cent of flights nationwide.
The officials inspected COVID-19 protocols at the airport to assess the preparedness for resumption.
Daily Trust reports that floor marking had been carried out at the departure hall and airlines’ counters just as tents were erected on the entry gates.
The South West Regional Manager of FAAN and MMIA Manager, Mrs. Victoria Shin’aba, who conducted the management staff round the airport, said a lot of work has been carried out in preparation for resumption.
