The grand finale of the inaugural edition of Odianonsen Odine Foundation’s football tournament will take place on December 27 at the Council Field, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
The youth football tournament tagged “2020 Gold cup“ is for youth in Esan North-East Local Government Area.

Organisers of the tournament said it is to promote the culture of the people of Esan and enhance the physical well-being of the youths.
League of Xtraordinary Gamers (LXG), Club Sovereign and Lounge, Ferncrest Hospitals, Band of Riders, Mayrock Digital press, Advik Engine Oil, KD Vertex Multinational Company and Fifteen24 global services are some of the sponsors of the tournament.
The Chairman/Founder of the NGO, Prince Odianonsen Odine, said: “As part of our core objectives of developing talents, enhancing socio-cultural bond and engaging in charitable causes, the foundation decided to engage the Youth in a football competition.”
The Tournament, which began on December 2, has brought together 11 participating teams across the 11 Wards in the Local Government.
Organisers also said the victorious team will be presented with a golden trophy, cash prizes, branded jerseys and medals.
There will also be awards for the Most Valuable Player, Highest Goal scorer, Best Goalkeeper and coach of the tournament.
