Odesanya is new Rivers police commissioner

Mr  Francis Mobolaji Odesanya  yesterday  assumed duty as the 37th Rivers State Commissioner of Police. Odesanya  succeeds  Folunso A. Adebanjo who has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police and now in charge of Information and Communication Technology at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The new commissioner of police enlisted into the force on the 2nd day of February 1986, as a cadet assistant superintendent of police and rose through the ranks to his present rank of Commissioner of Police on the 12th day of July, 2016.
