The chairman of Trade Union Congress, Anambra State chapter, Ifeanyi Okechukwu, yesterday urged Governor Willie Obiano to weed out ghost workers.

Speaking during the 2019 Workers’ Day celebration, Okeckwukwu said some workers had travelled overseas and were still receiving salaries.

Obiano said his administration would commence the payment of the N30,000 new minimum wage immediately the National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission released the template for payment.
