Obinna Nwankwo, better known by his stage name as OBI Xtra, is a Nigerian Raised-American based singer and songwriter.
He began his musical career while in high school doing freestyles and covering some popular hip-hop songs but he only started taking music seriously as a career after he graduated high school.

Obi has informed fans that he is working on an extended play (EP) album which he hopes to release in the first quarter of 2021.
He said that in the coming weeks he will ask his fans and followers to help him choose a title for the EP which is presently untitled as of now.
He said to engage and interact with his fans he is making arrangements with his management to initiate a giveaway titled #NameTheEPChallenge whereby 3 fans whose titles are selected as the most interesting titles will be picked for the finale.
He said the fan/follower who’s title is finally selected and used will win $200 dollars as prize money.
Obinna who released his third single of 2020 titled GOOD YOUTHS about a week ago premiered his first official single SUGAR in 2018.
He followed it up with RING RING in 2019, WARRANTY featuring WAGA G (2019, DON’T GIVE UP (2020) and FORWARD EVER featuring YUNG6IX 2020.
Good Youths available on all digital platforms and has been getting good for airplay on radio too. Obinna relocated to the US in 2017 and currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.
