A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State, Prince Ikechukwu Tabansi, has advised a former Governor of the state, Mr. Peter Obi, to desist from condemning the visible achievements of the incumbent Governor, Willie Obiano.
He asked the ex-governor to allow Obiano complete his second tenure in office. Addressing newsmen in Awka yesterday, Tabansi, who is the former Regent of Nri Kingdom, said Obiano started from where Obi stopped and had also moved the state forward, arguing that not every expectation of someone could be possibly realised.
“My humble advice to Obi is to take things easy, knowing that it is not all you hope to get from somebody that you will get. So, that does not mean that you should start throwing stones.”
He said road construction should not be the only parametre for measuring Obiano’s achievements in office, noting that attracting investors to the state was another good example of development which created jobs and generated revenue for the state.
