‘Obaseki will do better than Oshiomhole’

Godwin Obaseki will perform better than Governor Adams Oshiomhole if elected on September 10, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has said.
A statement signed by the state publicity secretary, Godwin Erhahon, called on the people to vote for continuing development, peace and prosperity in the forthcoming governorship election.
The statement urged the people not to make a “dangerous mistake” to return to the era of looting and vandalism for which it alleged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was known for.
“We guarantee the satisfactory performance of Dr Obaseki because he has been part of the planning and implementation of all developmental policies and programmes of Governor Oshiomhole since 2008,” the statement added.
The party claimed that the 12 governorship aspirants who contested the APC primary election were more credible than all the three PDP aspirants.
“So, let us team up to vote Dr. Obaseki to continue to develop Edo State. All issues arising from our primaries will soon be resolved and we shall thereafter pursue our campaign with the red roof modern school buildings, standard roads, hospitals etc across Edo State as concrete evidence of our good work,” it also said.
