Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State yesterday sacked Major Lawrence Loye (Rtd) from office as permanent secretary in the state Ministry of Transport.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, said, “I write to inform you that His Excellency, the Governor has approved your removal from office as Permanent Secretary in the Public Service of the state with immediate effect.”

The statement asked Loye to hand over all government properties in his possession to the most senior director in the ministry.
