The Progressive Governors Forum on Monday elected the Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, as its vice chairman.
The forum comprises all the state governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC), with the Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu as chairman.
A statement signed by the Governor Obaseki’s media aide, Crusoe Osagie, said Obaseki’s election was in recognition of his growing political clout across the country.

He said Obaseki will work with all APC governors and other leaders across the country to galvanise the party towards more electoral victories and timely delivery of the dividends of democracy
