The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has disclosed that his administration has earmarked N100 million in the 2019 budget for Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the state.
Obaseki disclosed this yesterday in Benin at the Alaghodaro Youth Summit/Job Fair as part of activities to mark his administration’s second anniversary.
He said the development would enable small business operators access finance to grow their businesses.

The governor who launched the Edo Start-up Fund Initiative and Edo Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) aimed at providing skills for youths, said the two jobs creation initiatives would eliminate obstacles that hinder youths from contributing to economic development.
