NYSC tasks corps members on entrepreneurship

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brig General Zakari Kazaure, has tasked corps members on entrepreneurship.
Addressing the 2016 Batch ‘A’ stream II corps members in Obubra camp, he urged the youths to avail themselves of the camp training opportunity in Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development.
Addressing the over 2,000 corps members during his visit to Cross River State NYSC Camp, Kazaure stressed that in the absence of white collar jobs, corps members should strive to achieve self-reliance through the free skill acquisition programme provided by the federal government in the NYSC camp.
“A good number of corps members have become employers of labour with various thriving businesses spread across the length and breadth of the nation”, he said.
While admonishing the newly mobilized corps members on good conduct in their various host communities during the primary assignment, the NYSC boss tasked them on the importance of respecting the tradition of their hosts. 
Earlier, the Coordinator of NYSC in Cross River State, Mrs Ifeoma Anidobi, appealed to the government to renovate the Obubra camp.
