The FCT Minister of State, Hajiya Mariya Mahmoud, has urged corps members to be dedicated in the course of their service delivery and nation building.
Hajiya Mariya, who was represented by the Mandate Secretary for Youth Development of the FCTA, Abdullahi Suleiman Ango, made the call at the closing ceremony of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Batch B Stream II orientation camp in Kubwa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
Ango, who is also the Chairman of the FCT NYSC Governing Board, assured the corps members of the FCTA’ hospitality; the accommodating and peaceful nature of residents.
He charged the corps members to discharge their duties with diligence, dedication and serve as good ambassadors of the nation while contributing meaningfully to nation building.

He encouraged them to utilise the skills they acquired during the orientation to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
He emphasised the importance of the NYSC scheme in fostering national unity and development, urging the corps members to take their responsibilities seriously.
