Ahmed urged the youth to make sure they add positive value to their host communities, while also tasking them with ensuring that they learned the local languages to ease their communication with the locals in their respective communities.
The NYSC head also said as they get set to participate in the general elections, the corps has secured the commitment of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies on the welfare and safety of corps members.
He said, “It will interest you to know that the performance of your predecessors contributed to the credibility of the previous elections, and earned NYSC accolades from both local and foreign observers.”
