NYSC deploys 2,500 corps member to Edo

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed 2,500 corps members to Edo state for the 2019 Batch “B” Stream 1 orientation course.

In a statement signed by the state coordinator, Mr. Adebayo Ojo, and made available to journalists in Benin at the weekend, he said the swearing-in would be presided over by Governor Godwin Obaseki, who will declare the course open.

While commending the state government for her favourable disposition towards corps members, he called for more assistance to enable them enjoy their stay during the course.

According to him, the formal opening/swearing-in ceremony will take place on June 20th, noting that registration of prospective corps members will only be for two days.
