The Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) yesterday advised Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State to shelve his ambition for a second term.
The council alleged that Wada’s administration was particularly disappointing to well-meaning indigenes of the state.
Spokesman of the group, Comrade Salami Abdullahi, who spoke at a press briefing convened yesterday in Abuja cited ‘insincere youth development policies and total absence of social policies for the downtrodden’ as some of the failures of the Wada administration.
He said a second term for the administration would spell doom for the youth.
