The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the conviction of former governor of Taraba State, Reverend Jolly Nyame and imposed a fresh N495 million fine against him.
Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim on Friday dismissed the claim that the conviction of the applicant is not justified by available evidence.

The judge however reduced the sentences to between 12 years and one year and nine months to run concurrently.
He added that official corruption should be treated as a crime against humanity such as genocide.
