The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has promised to eject the PDP and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri from power in 2023.
This was disclosed by the APC State Chairman, Ibrahim Bilal, during a ‘unity meeting’ held at the party’s secretariat to assure defectors that they would get equal rights as the existing members in the state.

Former gubernatorial candidates of ADC, Senator Abdulazeez Nyako, PDP, Nuhu Ribadu, SDP, Chief Emmanuel Bello, former governor Bala Ngillari, Senator Ishaku Abbo were among the returnees or new entrants into the APC who promised to take over power from PDP come 2023.
Bilal, who urged party members to promote unity and treat every member with fairness and justice, reiterated that the January 2021 membership registration/revalidation exercise would be used to admit all members, including new entrants.
