Gunmen have invaded Tudun Mun tsira village of Zangon Shanu, Samaru in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted a nursing mother and her baby.
Similarly, an elderly man, Mallam Abubakar Garba Aliyu, who was said to have relocated to the area recently, was also kidnapped along with his son, Salimi Abubakar, in Hayin Liman of the same area.

The incident which took place in the early hours of Friday around left people in the two areas in a serious panic.
Zangon Shanu is a settlement very close to ABU Zaria that houses most of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution.
An eyewitness said, “The gunmen came in large number and invaded the area through the back fence of the university. They rode on motorbikes carrying sophisticated arms.
“We assumed they came from kasuwar Da’a axis in Giwa Local Government Area which is very close to our settlement.
“They picked a nursing mother and her baby at Tudun Mun Tsira village before proceeding to Hayin Liman where they abducted an elderly man, one Alhaji Abubakar along with his grown-up son.
Meanwhile, Daily Trust gathered that security operatives, who responded to a distress call from the community, have rescued the baby and her nursing mother.
Efforts to reach the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Jalige, as at the time of filing the report was abortive as his mobile phone line was not connecting for a long time.
