The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) Branch of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has elected Comrade Idris Isah Danjuma as its chairman.
Idris, who was the immediate past treasurer of the union, emerged as chairman during the union’s Quadranniel Branch Delegates’ Conference held in Abuja recently.
He took over from Comrade Emuago Emmanuel and will oversee the affairs of the union for the next four years. Comrade Omotayo Kodugbe was re-elected as Branch Vice Chairman.
Other members of the newly elected branch executives include: Comrades Belema Atiyegoba, Branch Secretary; Nasirudeen Abubakar, Asstant Secretary; Oduwole Babatunde Christopher, Treasurer and Comrade Clement Otorobie, Branch Auditor.
Others were Comrades Collins Agwuebuonu, Financial Secretary; Habib Yahaya, PRO; Rabo Abdullahi, Chief Whip; Sunday Dogo, Welfare Officer and comrade Yakubu Jatau Danjuma, Branch Trustee.
